Tilman Brembs has been working as a photographer in Berlin since the 1980s. His work moves between documentary photography and artistic observation. He became known for his photographs of Berlin’s early techno and rave scene in the 1990s. His ongoing series explore time, memory, urban change and the traces of everyday life. His approach combines a documentary perspective with a personal and often unconventional way of seeing his surroundings.
